FABRICATED INSULATION FOR VESSELS, PIPE AND FITTINGS

Uniquely designed for ease of application over large diameter tanks, vessels and pipes or any curved surface requiring the benefits of Stone Wool, Polyisocyanurate, Foamglas or extruded Polystyrene. Ideally manufactured with a variety of facings, these products offer excellent thermal properties while providing the contractor low installation costs.

Cellular Glass Fabricated Pipe and Fitting Insulation

Cellular glass insulation can be fabricated for pipes, equipment, vessels, and tanks. These fabricated pieces can be found in chemical processing lines, above and underground steam piping along with chilled water piping. Cellular glass insulation has operating temperatures from -268° to 482°C.

Stone Wool Fabricated Pipe and Fittings Insulation

Stone wool pipe insulation is fabricated from felted stone wool bonded with a high-temperature binder.  The resulting product is precisely fabricated to fit NPS and tube sizes for both commercial and industrial applications. The temperature range is from -20ºF (-29ºC) to 1200ºF (649ºC). GLT Fabricator stone wool fabricated pipe insulation is a water repellent yet vapor permeable material. Extruded Polystyrene Fabricated Pipe and Fittings Insulation

Extruded Polystyrene Pipe Insulation (XPS) is a rigid, closed cell insulation offering excellent resistance to water and water absorption from freeze-thaw cycling. XPS Extruded Polystyrene Pipe Insulation has a service temperature range of -297°F to 165°F.

  • Does not soften or lose its strength at elevated temperatures

Polyisocyanurate Fabricated Pipe and Fittings Insulation

Polyisocyanurate pipe insulation is a closed cell, high-performance insulation for pipe, vessel, equipment and duct applications. Can be used within the service range of -297°F to 300°F. GLT Fabricators also uses Trymer and Dyplast version of Polyisocyanurate in their insulation fabrication process.
